Modern organic -
Originally envisioned as a seasonal retreat, this home evolved into a primary residence shaped around a new phase of life. The renovation brought clarity to a structure that previously lacked cohesion, introducing a central gathering space that anchors the home and opens toward the surrounding vineyard landscape.
The interior direction is guided by a quiet material palette and a sensitivity to natural light. White oak, stone, and soft textiles create a sense of warmth, while large openings and carefully placed skylights draw the outdoors into the daily experience of the home. Throughout, the design supports a strong connection to its setting, allowing views and light to shape the atmosphere.
Subtle references to Korean design principles inform the overall approach, where simplicity and restraint give weight to each element. The result is a home that feels grounded and enduring, designed to be lived in fully now and passed on over time.
